Cologne, 23 July 2024 – As a sustainability & ESG consultancy, IR.on AG not only supports other companies, but also works continuously on its own sustainability strategy internally and today publishes its first voluntary sustainability report.
IR.on AG advises its clients on both financial communication and sustainability & ESG. IR.on AG supports its clients in ongoing investor relations activities as well as in projects such as IPOs, bond issues, M&A transactions and special situations. In the area of sustainability & ESG, IR.on AG advises its clients on regulatory requirements, provides support in strategy development and in the preparation of sustainability reports in accordance with ESRS and GRI.
Since developing our own sustainability strategy in 2021, we have been working continuously on its implementation. We have already made progress in all four areas of action and achieved significant successes:
As a service company, employee satisfaction and development play an important role in the sustainability strategy, which is why a survey on the satisfaction of all employees was conducted for the first time in 2023. As a result of this survey, we are working on an employer caring strategy this year.
In addition to employees, the further development of our network is an important field of action. In particular, we further expanded our ESG network last year and plan to do so in the future.
The topic of compliance is also very important to us, as we work with sensitive customer data and insider information, particularly in the financial sector. In addition to our Code of Conduct, we report on our data protection and IT security measures as well as our regulations on preventing insider trading in our Sustainability Report.
Our fourth area of action deals with strategic communication and climate protection measures. In addition to various measures to make our office in Cologne more sustainable, we report on our carbon footprint, our planned new sustainability section on our website and our internal sustainability projects.
Overall, we made progress in all four areas of action in 2023 and have achieved another major goal of our strategy with the publication of this report. We plan to publish a sustainability report every year from now on.
