Cologne, May 31, 2023 – IR.on AG's ESG team supported Homann Holzwerkstoffe GmbH, a leading European supplier of thin, refined wooden fibreboards for the furniture, doors and coatings industries, in the preparation of its second Sustainability Report.
The Sustainability Report for fiscal year 2022 was developed in close cooperation in accordance with the current GRI standards and the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. The report provides information on the company's main areas of focus, the development of key performance indicators and targets, and the progress made in achieving the targets in the past fiscal year.
In 2021, Homann Holzwerkstoffe Group had adopted its sustainability strategy with the support of IR.on and defined corresponding targets. The focus in fiscal 2022 was on the consistent implementation of the associated measures in order to achieve important progress in the fields of action "We care for our relationships", "We face up to the challenges" and "We deliver performance". Among other things, the company has intensively addressed the topics of wood recycling, emission reduction, and product innovations.
